My Holiday Gift Guide
As the holidays are approaching, so has the searching for the best gifts for family and friends. Every year I take so much time to find the perfect gifts for my family members and friends it takes weeks to gather and make my final decisions. I mean, each person has different loves and interests. I love when family gives me lists but I thoroughly enjoy finding the perfect gift for someone and their response is, “This is so me! I didn’t even realize I needed this!” Hence this is why it takes me so long. Does anyone else have this same problem? I thought so, so I compiled a list of all my favorite things and best ideas for all those unique people! Most of the items I have linked below I own and use, and if I don’t (wink, wink) I would love to have them. :)
The list below is compiled from Amazon for two reasons:
First, they have so many different Holiday guides that it is completely overwhelming. So to help you all out I scoured through all of them and came up with 72 of the best items from those lists that I felt my readers would love and need for their loved ones.
Secondly, let’s be honest, I don’t want to go to a million different websites or even worse in a store, driving around in the chaos of it all and sitting in long lines. I would much rather be in my PJ’s under the covers with a cup of coffee, watching the Real Housewives while shopping. Tell me your with me…Okay, Cool. Is this what Gen Y aka millenials are known for? Heck yeah we are! And I ain’t mad about it. So before you start reading and diving in to your shopping, make sure you have a cup of coffee, are dressed in a comfy outfit, and sitting under a blanket. Got it all? Okay great! Enjoy the effortlessness of shopping with the list below!
Technology
Okay, a Fire Stick is a necessity at this point.
Airpods have made my life so much easier when shopping, driving, or multi-tasking throughout my day I bought them and never looked back.
The Crosley turntable is actually something my sister owns but the sound on it is unbelievable and I would recommend it for any music lover.
The Sony portable speaker I have and it is great for travel and has great sound for its size.
Home
I have every single one of these items and while some may seem strange to give I recommend them all because they have been great use for me in decorating and recovering.
Health and Hygiene
The first nail kit uses poly as a nail extension and has a travel size UV light but I also have the full size one too for at home purposes and just for using gel polish. The LED therapy light is not something I have but I have a small UV blue light that I use when I have acne pop up and use it daily and it significantly reduces the inflammation and redness of the area. The only thing I don’t own here is the mini-fridge however, it would be extremely beneficial for skin care products as some are better to use when they have been refrigerated especially an eye cream. Highly recommend the RENPHO scale it connects to an app super easy and gives great detail into your health.
Photo and Memory Gifts
Have photo lovers who love to document the moment? I highly suggest gifting a Polaroid camera and giving them a case to cover it. I have this exact one and I always buy my multi-pack film from Amazon. The ring light I also have which serves so many purposes for me (photographing outfits, earrings I make, things for my website as well as a light when making) so I know it would do the same for any of your loved ones. The Dad Holiday gift I thought was so special and a great gift to give as we know our parents sometimes just want the simple things. Lastly, the photo organizer bins I have linked are seriously a life saver. I have been able to label and box all photos from birth until now with these bins rather than have multiple albums that take up to much space.
Sleep and Relaxation
I have both UGG slippers linked here and I would recommend them to anyone. I actually received the grey ones as a gift and love them so much… can you say UGGplush and wool so soft? The Ralph Lauren PJ’s feel amazing but size up and air dry so they don’t shrink.
Dinner Parties and Gifts for the Host
The whiskey stones and glass gift set was given to my fiance and he loves it! It’s great for hosting people and helps his bourbon stay cool and smooth with the frozen limestones. When it comes to giving wine glasses or anything to do with wine, I mean can you really go wrong? Don’t forget to purchase wine charms from our online store so your guests don’t get their wine glass mixed up. I don’t know about you but my whole family drinks red wine and that could end badly if we didn’t have our wine charms.
Womens Fashion and Outerwear
Who doesn’t want a sweater, a nice watch or some socks and boots during this time of the year? I offered two different snow boots one from Sorel which is more costly but the other one is just as cute just shorter but at a way more affordable price. Take your pick!
Travel
Rockland luggage is seriously the best. This isn’t the same set I have because I bought mine 7 years ago but I haven’t had to buy anymore luggage since because of its durability. This is the newest version of mine.
So many people ask me about where I got the small crossbody bag… it is a MUST.
For the Book Lover
BIG MAGIC changed my life… no exaggeration. It was the most inspiring book and actually pushed me to start this blog and brand… thank you Elizabeth Gilbert. The other books I own except for “Heart Talk”, I bought Cleo Wades journal not realizing there was a book with it (duh me) and now I want her book. The other books are great for many different reasons but you decide who they would be great for on your list.
Games and Entertainment
I don’t know about you and yours, but mine love to play games and we get super competitive during the Holidays. I mean everyone is around each other for the first time in months sometimes, and now we can’t wait to play games to brag, act like total children when we win or lose (not me) and throw it in our families face? Isn’t that what this time with family is all about? With that being said I have gathered some games that encourage that type of competition and some that encourage and nice peaceful discussion about your favorite season… eye roll. Just kidding, the Table Topics are really great gifts for Thanksgiving dinner or just to give friends who are always hosting. Lastly, I am a total nerd and love words so any loved one who is like this will love the game Bananagrams… it is a household game staple.
Hopefully by this time you have found yourself still on your first cup of coffee because this list just did it all for you and it took you no time at all. I also hope you have found yourself with your list checked off, a few laughs as you read this, and hardly tired since you didn’t have to search through Amazon yourself or go into actual stores! Sending many blessings and love your all’s way!
